This policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and stored when you visit or make a purchase from Esther Priestley Silver Jewellery. 

What Personal Data I collect: Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Esther Priestley Silver Jewellery holds or processes any personal information about you using:

• Consent  - When you order from me, either directly or through the website. I hold some information about you (your name, email address, and in some instances, your postal address and telephone number). This gives me sufficient information to enable me to process your order. It is worth noting that when I talk about “information”, I am referring exclusively to your contact details. I never have access to financial information when you make payments using Stripe, WordPay or Paypal (via my online shop) or Sumup (via my card reader). All sensitive financial information is held securely by the processing companies, and they never share this with me.
• Contract - I use an order book which is kept in my workshop to keep a note of all orders for my records and to enable me to keep you updated with information regarding your order.  As a sole trader (I do everything myself) it is only ever me who sees this information.

 

Data Retention: I will maintain your order information for my records (unless and until) you ask me to delete it.

How I use your information : I use your information in order to keep you updated with your order and to be able to post or deliver the finished jewellery to you..  If you opt in to receive information about Esther Priestley Silver Jewellery I only currently do via quarterly newsletters sent out by Email Octopus..

Your rights : At any time you are entitled to ask what information I hold about you, and I will give you these details in full, free of charge. You also have the right to ask that your details be deleted or amended. If you ever change your mind about what information you want me to hold on you then please contact me via email.
